so do you have to be over 18 to go to this? i just found out about it today and i am psyked. also i read on Funker Vogt's website that they will be in phase 4. but it does not say that on your website. are there any things like this out west? i live in central washington USA and its kind of a long drive lol.

as for age it's suppose to be 18+, we are looking at option with the venue to make it all ages but for now we do know that under age people have come to the 2008 edition, since we don't ask age when we sale tickets online and that the venue is not a Nightclub so there are not use to ask ID at the door. They mostly do it only at the bar.

theonly problem to be under 18 could be the border. I don't know the regulation for minor under 18 crossing the border alone. You should check it online with US immigration website

I am not familiar with the bars in Montreal, but Quebec in general I think is a bit more relaxed with letting minors get "entrance" to the bars. But, as mentioned, purchasing alcohol may require proof of ID. In Ontario, it is quite different, no getting through the door without ID. I was wondering myself about all the under 19 people saying they are going if this is not all-ages.

Drinking age in Quebec is 18 not 19 like in Ontario

Good news! we just got the confirmation from the venue that the Kinetik Festival will be an all ages event. Since the Usine C have amphitheater permits rather than a bar licence, minors will be admitted in the hall. But, you could be asked for an identification card in order to purchase alcoholic beverages. Moreover, any minor discovered consuming alcohol would be expulsed from the premises immediately.
