Tous les voyageurs de l'extérieur du Canada voulant voyager au Canada devront présenter un passeport valide lors de leur entrée au Canada. Il est important de noter que si vous avez commis un acte criminel ou avez été reconnu coupable d’un tel acte, vous pourriez ne pas être admis au Canada.
Pour les voyageurs Amériquains, il est important de noter que depuis janvier 2007 le passeport est nécessaire pour entrer au Canada en avion. Pour ceux arrivant par la voie terrestre, la loi vous permet actuellement de voyager au Canada sans avoir un passeport en votre possession, si vous avez avec vous des cartes ou papiers reconnus comme étant acceptés à la frontière. Mais il est important de noter que la loi devrait changer au courant de l'été 2008, donc il serait préférable de toujours avoir un passeport valide pour rentrer au Canada.

All the travelers coming to Canada will have to show a valid passport to enter in Canada. All travelers with any criminal records will be denied access to Canada.
For the U.S. travelers coming by plane to Canada, passport will be required.
For the one arriving by land (car / train), the actual border law allow you to enter Canada with official papers or official ID cards. But be advice that this regulation should change in spring 2008, so to avoid any problems, we encourage you to apply for a passport if you don't already have one.
Visas are not required to visit canada except for the countries found on the list on this web site
